Photoshoot of the new menu of the restaurant Varburger

The author of the new menu was the new brand chef, Alexander Yourz.
When we discussed the idea of the photoshoot, the chef’s main request was to photograph the dishes from above (I wasn’t exactly thrilled about that 😅). That’s when the idea came to combine his vision with my own style of “vertical food” photography — a concept I developed back in 2016 for Michelin-starred chefs at the FONTEGRO culinary congress (though I’m sure I wasn’t the only one to ever try it).
